October 05, 2006 Version 5 release notes:
I have added Internet Explorer 7 support plus an option for those of you with fast computers and Internet connection. If your computer is lightning fast and you have a fast Internet connection check the "INSANE SPEED..." option to the right of the program. (Keep this option un-checked if you prefer to use the old version 4 setup) The custom speed is preset to 0.005 seconds for best results but if you want to see JiggySaw go really crazy and solve puzzles in less than 10 seconds change it to 0 for a short period of time. That's right JiggySaw will now solve puzzles in less than 10 seconds. However, the game will most likely freeze up after playing for about 15 minutes due to the insane speed. Leave the custom speed at 0.005 seconds and JiggySaw will solve puzzles in less than 20 seconds. (Solve time will vary depending on system speed and Internet connection) I strongly advice you not to use the insane speed option if you don't have a fast computer and/or Internet connection. I don't know what will happen since I haven't had a chance to test this option on slower systems. If you use the insane speed option and have great success I would appreciate if you could drop me an email (click here) with your custom speed setting, computer specs like RAM, processor speed and so one and Internet connection speed and solve time. I would like to post the different results, system specs, Internet speeds, custom speed settings and solve times on this page for other users that need help with the settings and to give them an idea what to expect. Folks please don't be shy and drop me an email, all you to do is click on the email link above. I want to mention this real quick again because I know some of you would like to keep using the old version 4. Simply keep The insane speed option un-checked and you will be using our old version 4.0.4.
